New York's Contractor Insurance Specialists

Since 2012, Bedrock has focused on one thing: getting contractors the right coverage to stay compliant and keep working.

The Firm

Built From the Ground Up for Contractors

Bedrock Insurance Advisors was founded in 2012 with a simple premise: New York contractors deserve a broker who actually understands construction. Our founders came from the construction insurance world and saw how general brokers mishandled contractor programs — wrong class codes, missing endorsements, COIs that took days instead of hours. We built Bedrock to fix that.

Today we serve contractors across the five boroughs and the tri-state area — from solo electricians to general contractors running large commercial projects. Our team is staffed by licensed producers with deep construction insurance backgrounds, and we maintain appointments with admitted and surplus lines carriers that specialize in writing contractor risk.

We operate from 1 Liberty Plaza in Lower Manhattan, steps from the carriers and adjusters who handle your claims. When a Labor Law claim hits, we're not chasing emails — we're in the room.

Our Approach

How We Work With Contractors

We start by understanding your trade, your crew, and your contracts. What jobs are you bidding? What does the GC require? What's your loss history look like? We do a full exposure analysis before we go to market.

When we submit to carriers, we package your risk properly — complete ACORD applications, loss runs, supplemental narratives, and safety documentation. This front-end work is why our contractors get better terms and lower premiums than they were paying before.

After binding, we handle your COIs, endorsements, and claims. When a Workers' Comp or Labor Law claim comes in, our producers work directly with the carrier's adjusting team to manage reserves and push for early closures — protecting your EMR and keeping your bids competitive.
